About Hokkaido Ramen House and Sushi

Located at 3860 McKinley Pkwy Ste 260, Buffalo, NY 14219, Hokkaido Ramen House and Sushi operates as a japanese serving Buffalo in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Buffalo, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AM–2:30 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (716) 259-8280. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is hokkaidohamburg.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 88 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded japanese & sushi in Buffalo.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Buffalo peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My daughter was in the mood for ramen and we find this location. She loved the taste of her 🍲. She said the brooth had a lot of flavor and was not over hot where she couldn't enjoy the meal. My wife and I had a few sushi rolls, chicken fried rice and an order of gyoza. Everything was good but nothing had that Wow factor. The service was very good and he was attentive. Nice atmosphere, not loud and they had music playing.

We wait for the food 45 minutes which is insane, server apologize like 3 times like it was her fault and trying to justify the slowness of the sushi chefs first of all is a small restaurant I've been in sushi buffet restaurants biggest than this place with more people and we always wait for about 15 minutes no more. Then after we got the food not even passed like 20 minutes and the server ask if we need boxes, like for real we just started eating. I didn't like that at all but other than that the food was phenomenal and the girl in the front desk was really nice!

This was our second time dining in and third time eating here. The food is the reason we keep coming backβ€”the ramen is phenomenal. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. Both my mom and I paid extra for bean sprouts, but there were very few in either bowl. If I’m paying for an add-on, I expect it to be included as ordered. The service was also noticeably different from our previous visit. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but our server never checked on us, never asked how our food was, and seemed rushed throughout the meal. At the end, the bill was placed on the table without asking if we wanted dessert or anything else. I understand everyone has off days, and I may have misread the situation, but I felt unwelcome compared to previous visits. It was especially disappointing because we’ve had a much better experience here before. The ramen is still excellent, and I hope this feedback is taken constructively because we’d like to continue supporting the restaurant.

Wow I am in awe. Yesterday was Eid Al-Adha a very special holiday for us Muslims, and when deciding for a place to have dinner we decided on coming hereβ€”I am so glad we did! As we walked in the atmosphere was spectacular, everyone was so welcoming, smiling and looked so happy to have us. The restaurant was very clean and orderly, the staff were very polite and friendly! Julia our server was so attentive and very helpful with ordering and making it such a joyous experience! The decor of the restaurant was so elegant and beautiful. I absolutely loved everything about my experience. As for the food, wow, just wow. I’ve never had such a fantastic experience when ordering sushi and ramen. Everything was beautifully placed, well cooked and delicious!! You do not need to worry about the food being bland, because the food is absolutely fantastic!! Everything was well balanced and articulated. Well done chef! Thank you for such an amazing experience!! Highly recommend and will be coming again. I’m so happy I had such a spectacular meal and experience!!!

SO delicious. I didn't want this experience for my tastebuds to end. We ordered the Crab Ragoon, which in my opinion is the best Ive had yet, and the Spicy Beef and Spicy Miso ramen. Perfect balance of flavors and spice. My boyfriend and I will be returning to try the sushi as well! Service was great as well, not in your face but great attention.

First time here. Ordered the crab Rangoon and Chicken Karaage for apps. Both were really delicious! The light crispy exterior on the crab Rangoon was a welcomed surprise compared to the heavy wrapper on all others I’ve had and the filling was so good! The chicken also amazing! We ordered a few different rolls and the Spicy California roll, the Salmon with Avocado and a special Hawaiian roll. I didn’t think that was so great personally. They were small as far as rolls go. Taste was bland. The main dish was the shrimp curry with rice. And that was large enough the hubby and I split it. And it had really great flavor! We loved it! I’d def recommend going to try it out! We will be going back to try a bowl of ramen everyone who I seen ordering it looked very good.

Appetizers, sushi and ramen were excellent! The "fire" level spice packs a real punch. Looking forward to trying more of their menu!
